Netflix: Marsha P. Johnson

Our partners at Netflix asked us to create a series of GIFS to promote a documentary about Marsha P. Johnson. As admirers of the legendary trans icon, we were humbled to take on the task. Inspired by zine culture within the 70's punk, activist, and LGBTQ movement, as well as the flowers and colorful decor worn by Marsha herself, we created each GIF out of collage paper and mixed materials.
